Metcalfe, Purcell will be directed by Schumacher

Joel Schumacher has selected his lost boys for "Town Creek," the director's latest foray into vampire lore.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dominic Purcell and Jesse Metcalfe will play brothers whose mission for revenge leads them into a terrifying occult experiment that has something to do with bloodsuckers and the Third Reich.

Schumacher will begin shooting the Gold Circle production next March.

Metcalfe, best known for setting hearts aflame on "Desperate Housewives," made his feature starring debut this past summer in the dark comedy "John Tucker Must Die."

Purcell, star of the FOX dramas "John Doe" and "Prison Break," played a particularly evil vampire on the big screen in "Blade: Trinity."
