Let's make two!

Warner Bros. is nearly three months away from releasing its new "Nancy Drew" mystery, but without seeing a single box office receipt, the company wants a sequel.

According to Variety, star Emma Roberts, director Andrew Fleming ("Dick") and producer Jerry Weintraub ("Ocean's Eleven") are planning a pair of return collaborations.

One is obviously "Nancy Drew 2," a proposed follow-up to "Nancy Drew," which opens on June 15, reviving the tweener private eye franchise, long fallow. In the first film, Nancy and her father visit Los Angeles and she becomes caught up in a murder mystery. No hilarity ensues, but there'll be plenty of sleuthing.

The trade paper also reports that Fleming has written a script called "Rodeo Girl," to star Roberts as a "debutante equestrian who falls for a cowbody and tries to win him over by entering a rodeo competition."

Excuse us. We have to go get in line for that second one.
