Mr. Big Becomes 'My One and Only'
Chris Noth joins Renee Zellweger in the drama
Richard Loncraine is directing the film, which is based on an anecdote actor George Hamilton once shared with Merv Griffin, according to Variety.
Charlie Peters scripted tale of a woman (Zellweger) who travels from town to town with her sons looking for a wealthy man to settle down with. The trade paper says that Noth will play a retired military doctor.
Production on "My One and Only," co-produced by Ray Gun Prods., Artfire Films and Merv Griffin Entertainment, will begin next month.
This Friday (May 30) Noth will bring his Mr. Big to the big screen in New Line's "Sex and the City" feature. The "Law & Order" veteran's feature credits include "Cast Away," "Baby Boom" and "Mr. 3000."
