Tyler Perry Turns Cosby Kid into a Hooker
Keshia Knight Pulliam joins Perry and Derek Luke in 'Madea Goes to Jail'
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Keshia Knight Pulliam has scored one of the leads in Perry's "Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail," the writer-director next feature.
Based on Perry's play and bringing the writer-director's beloved Madea back in a starring role, "Jail" will begin production in Mid-May, with an early-2009 release date in the cards. If you're really impatient, of course, you can always just watch the 2006 DVD of Perry's play.
In the project, Madea finds herself behind bars, where she meets a prostitute named Candy (Pulliam), an unfortunate woman under the thumb of Big Sal.
Also cast in the project is Derek Luke ("Friday Night Lights), as an attorney.
Though many viewers will always know her as Little Rudy, Pulliam recently turned 29. Her credits include "Celebrity Mole: Yucatan," "The Gospel" and, most recently, "Tyler Perry's House of Payne."
