Quaid to Serve As 'Tennis Coach'
Actor joins Seann William Scott
The Oscar-nominated actor is in final talks to star opposite Seann William Scott in the indie comedy "Gary the Tennis Coach."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scott will play the titular character whose inexperience causes him to look up to and learn from a veteran coach (Quaid).
Danny Leiner will begin shooting the comedy later this month in Austin.
Quaid was last seen on the big screen with "Brokeback Mountain" and "The Ice Harvest." He recently wrapped Milos Forman's "Goya's Ghosts," in which the actor plays King Carlos IV of Spain.
