Paramount pic would forcus on the search for Osama bin Laden

Having earned a slew of admiring reviews for "World Trade Center," Oliver Stone is looking to remain in the 9/11 vein.

According to Variety, Stone may make "Jawbreaker" his next project for Paramount. After covering the humanity of 9/11 rescue efforts in his last film, Stone will examine the government's response to the attacks, specifically the search for Osama bin Laden.

The film will be based on the memoir by Gary Berntsen and the latest draft is being written by Cyrus Nowrasteh (ABC's recent "The Path to 9/11"), so expect a lot of random blame on Bill Clinton.

Stone has a long-standing connection with Nowrasteh dating back to 2001's "The Day President Reagan Was Shot," which Nowrasteh wrote and directed and Stone executive produced.

The trade paper says that while Stone and Paramount snagged Berntsen's book months ago, the Oscar-winning director has several other possible projects on his plate to followed up "World Trade Center," which has taken in more than $125 million worldwide.
