Ferrell and Wife Expecting Second Child
And Chuck Norris is the father -- well, not really
The comedian and his wife Viveca Paulin are expecting their second child.
The actor revealed the happy news while promoting his film on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
"My wife is pregnant again," says Ferrell, adding, "I'm not the father. Chuck Norris is the dad -- we're so excited about that."
Ferrell, 39, and the 37-year-old Paulin, a Swedish actress/producer, met in the mid-'90s during a summer acting program at the South Coast Repertory Theatre in Orange County. They married in 2000 and have a two-year-old son, Magnus, together.
"We've been trying to tell [Magnus], 'Mommy has a baby in her belly,'" Ferrell also tells Leno. "Then one day he was like, 'Mommy has a baby in her head!' My wife does have an abnormally large head. It's grotesque ... but I said, 'No, no she doesn't,' ... and we had a laugh."
Paulin is also an art auctioneer in Los Angeles and has played one in film. She also appeared as the woman to whom Ferrell lost his virginity in the comedy "A Night at the Roxbury."
Ferrell, a "Saturday Night Live" alum, has starred in a number of films, including "Old School," "Elf," "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," "Bewitched," "Kicking & Screaming," "Wedding Crashers" and "The Producers." The NASCAR film "Talladega Nights" will open nationwide on Friday, Aug. 4.
