Two Coreys
By Denise Martin, Special to The Times
Whether or not you’ve seen “The Two Coreys,” A&E’s reality show reuniting former child stars Corey Feldman and Corey Haim, you know that Feldman is the sane one. Sure, he got married in a wedding officiated by MC Hammer on “The Surreal Life,” but he’s long since kicked his drug habit (while Haim still wrestles with his demons), his band’s second album “Technology Analogy” (with an assist from Pink Floyd producer-musician Jon Carin) comes out in August, and his production company is working on several TV series projects.
Feldman says the divide between him and Haim will become even more distinct during the second season of “The Two Coreys," airing Sundays, which is “much darker and more serious” than the first. “It’s a train wreck of a different kind,“ he says. “I’m really forced to draw a line with [the other] Corey. I love him and I’d help him if he decided he really wanted it, but I’ve got a family now and things are going really well for me. I’m happier than ever.”
So happy that he didn’t even mind when we asked him to look back and pick his favorite Corey Feldman films. He counts them down:
