Tobey Maguire vs. Jake Gyllenhaal

Even before Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal starred together in "Brothers" -- about a presumed-dead Marine (Maguire), his younger brother (Gyllenhaal) and the relationship both have with the soldier's wife (Natalie Portman) -- the two actors' paths had intertwined some. Gyllenhaal was rumored as a replacement for Maguire in the "Spider-Man" movies when the latter was locked in a contract dispute -- and also dated Maguire's "Spidey" co-star, Kirsten Dunst. Plus, they kind of look alike.
