'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince'

Certain that a momentous battle approaches, Dumbledore calls in his friend Professor Slughorn to help defend Hogwarts against Voldemort, while Harry and his friends come under attack by rampaging teenage hormones. Harry and Dean Thomas both love Ginny, Lavender Brown fancies Ron, and Hermione simmers with jealously. But one student is unfazed by the romance in the air, and he is determined to leave his own dark mark.

'Bruno' fashions

Sacha Baron Cohen is making his mark around the world as Bruno, a flamboyantly gay Austrian fashionista. The film, scheduled for release July 10, is all about Cohen cajoling people to let him into events and he then taping their reactions to his outlandish behavior. If fashion makes the man, we don't know what kind of man that makes Cohen, but it's fun to watch.

'Blood: The Last Vampire'

Saya looks like an ordinary teenager on the outside, but on the inside, she's a 400-year-old half-human, half-vampire swordfighter who's made it her mission to exterminate vampires. Sent to an American military base in Tokyo, Saya learns that she may finally have a chance to destroy Onigen, the evil vampire leader. But when she forms a friendship with the daughter of the base's commander, she realizes that her ability to bond with humans may be her greatest weapon against Onigen.

Buffalo Grove High School valedictorian Denis Cooverman (Paul Rust) has played it safe and made it all the way to graduation day without ever having really experienced some of the joys of higher learning: breaking curfew, destruction of property, over-consumption of alcohol, fist fights, late nights, fast cars or faster women (actually, women of any sort). But all of that is about to change, and all by uttering five little words: "I LOVE YOU, BETH COOPER."
