So the 1942 Disney classic “Bambi” may have been all about an endearing deer coping with the loss of his mother. But fathers get their due in this 2003 Disney/Pixar animated blockbuster about an overprotective dad trying to find his missing son. Nemo's dad also comes to terms with the fact that there comes a time when a father has to be less shielding of his children. Albert Brooks is the voice of Marlin, a widowed clownfish, who is so protective of his young son Nemo (voiced by Alexander Gould) that he embarrasses his son on his first day of school. To prove to his father that he’s not afraid of the dangers of the deep, Nemo disobeys Marlin by swimming into the open water. But when Nemo is captured by a scuba diver, both the young fish and his father learn the meaning of love and family bonds.
