Why He Got Booked: Penny congratulates Leonard on his new "in a relationship" status, which he protests as wrong. Sheldon then cops to hacking Leonard's page -- he saw his friend cry in front of Stephanie, so he reasons it must be a relationship.

Used for Good or Evil: Sheldon has no understanding of the subtleties of relationships (or Facebook), and hacking is bad. But it works out when Stephanie updates her status too.
