Picking the best and worst new shows for 2006-07 turned out to be a little tougher this year than it has in the past -- or at least picking the worst did. Thankfully, that wasn't because there were so many awful shows from which to choose.
In fact, the opposite is true: Yes, there's stuff that rubbed us the wrong way, but nothing the networks are putting forth this fall is especially bad on the scale of, say, "Emeril" or last year's "Head Cases." There are a number of strong shows too, but picking our favorites turned out to be a little easier. The three best here jumped out at us immediately, and we can't wait to see what comes next.
