'Prime Suspect' to 'Charlie's Angels': Our favorite female crime-solvers

With the premiere of NBC's "Prime Suspect," comes a new face to the crime procedural game: Maria Bello.

Bello steps into Helen Mirren's considerable shoes as the U.S. version of tough-as-nails detective Jane Tennyson, named Jane Timoney across the pond.

Also joining the world of female investigators are a new batch of "Charlie's Angels."
