Hits and Misses: TV's movie reboots

Hits and Misses: TV's movie reboots: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles had all the makings of a hit, even without Arnold. But audiences could never stop comparing the Fox show to its iconic blockbuster predecessor, and it was unceremoniously canceled after two seasons.

But thats not stopping the networks from attempting even more movie revivals this year. On Tuesday, ABC Family will resurrect the 1999 teen comedy 10 Things I Hate About You as a weekly show, and later this fall, NBC and ABC will attempt to juice prime time with series remakes of the 80s comedies Parenthood and The Witches of Eastwick.

We look back at other memorable -- and the easily forgettable -- film-to-TV translations. Buffy, anyone?
