'American Idol': Is Simon Cowell replaceable?

Simon Cowell has announced he's done on "American Idol" after the current season. Will the show continue on with just Randy, Kara and Ellen behind the judges table? We can't imagine the show without a no-nonsense, brutally honest judge so we're here to offer some suggestions.
