Jesse Tyler Ferguson, 'Modern Family'
You know him as:Mitchell Pritchett, life partner to Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) and dad of adopted daughter Lily
Why we like him: Ferguson may play the quieter, less flamboyant half of the couple, but his eye-rolling exasperation, neurotic self-consciousness and occasional bursts of outrage and goofiness make Mitchell just as cuddly and lovable as Cameron. Plus, he's really rocking that beard and sweater look.
Where else you've seen him: "The Class" and "Do Not Disturb" -- the early demise of both made it difficult for us to include Ferguson on earlier Underrated lists. He also originated the role of Leaf Coneybear in the Tony-winning "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee."
