Emmy Snubs & Surprises

Surprise or snub?: Snub. This show is telling some of its best stories yet this season, with a phenomenal blend of both the hilarious and heartbreaking. Though its been nominated in the past for Outstanding Writing, Directing & Lead Actor (Denis Leary, who was also left out this year), it's never recognized as an Outstanding Drama Series. Maybe because it doesn't really fit the category, with comedy being one the program's greatest assets.
