You know him as: Ben, Sam's (Bret Harrison) pal and Workbench coworker

Why we like him: As Sam's less obnoxious sidekick, he nevertheless gets his share of laughs with his suave demeanor, surprising sentimentality (like when he adopted the dove Winston) and penchant for getting injured. Plus, he has a grandmother who can recognize evil spirits.

Where else you've seen him: Gabriel the phone tech guy in "In the Valley of Elah," Timo in "Coach Carter," and a recurring role on "Boston Public."
