Why we like her: This can't be said enough: Autumn Reeser and Taylor Townsend have been directly responsible for resurrecting "The O.C." in its fourth season. Reeser has taken a character that initially seemed so familiar -- a marginally less obsessive version of "Gilmore" girl Paris Geller -- and made her into the teen soap's most reliable source of laughs and, more recently, romantic fantasy.

Where else you've seen her: Allegedly she was on ABC's "Complete Savages," but we'll ignore that. It may, however, be worth seeking out her appearance in "The Girl Next Door."
