Zap2it Fall TV Preview 2007: Best Shows: Dirty Sexy Money

ABC has pretty well cornered the market on the primetime soap in recent seasons, and its latest foray into sudsy territory, Dirty Sexy Money, should further increase its lock on the genre. Simply put, Dirty Sexy Money is a gas to watch, showcasing bad behavior and outlandish situations to spare. Yet, it never goes completely off the deep end, thanks in large part to well-turned performances by Peter Krause and Donald Sutherland, among others. Creator Craig Wright is walking a fine line here between recognizable human behavior and campy escapism, and the thing about fine lines is that its easy to end up on the wrong side of them. But if he and the shows writers stay on that line, we could have the next great soap on our hands.
