We, as a people, have short attention spans. Fast food, fast forward, fast and furious - it can be hard to hold down a 10-minute conversation let alone sit still for an hour. But there are some shows that have that magic to grab you by the eyeballs and not let go. You know them, you love them, you fiend for them worse than a Cinnabon at the mall and when there are no new episodes you succumb to the cold sweats of withdrawal. Some shows have a solid history of worship while others have only scratched the surface of greatness (Oh Torchwood, please don't leave us any time soon).
