Zap2it Fall TV Preview 2007: Ones to Watch: Lee Pace
Pushing Daisies (ABC)

Have you gotten the sense yet that were fans of Pushing Daisies here at Zap2it? A lot of attention will be lavished on the shows look and its wonderfully cockeyed premise, and rightfully so. But those things wouldnt matter if the shows lead actor couldnt carry the weight; fortunately, Lee Pace is up to it. He projects a bemusement that suits the show perfectly without being at all off-putting, and you just want to root for his character to find a way to live with his gift/curse. Pace has had supporting roles in Wonderfalls and The Good Shepherd, but if things break right he should be a lot more well-known in a few months time.
