Zap2it's 2007 Guilty Pleasures: Nigella Express

Every now and then when were in the kitchen, my girlfriend and I will slip into Nigella-speak: A bowl of melted chocolate becomes a gooorgeous inky-black pool of decadence, pomegranate seeds on a salad turn into beautiful little ruby jewels studding the crisp, peppery greens. All the Food Network In the Kitchen shows (except maybe the avert-your-eyes-no-I-cant Semi-Homemade) exhibit a love of cooking, but only the lusty, more than occasionally nutty Nigella seems to have a real appreciation for actually eating what she makes. Giada and Paula and all the rest, theyre fine, but only Nigella makes us do an impression.
