Zap2it's 2007 Guilty Pleasures: What About Brian

Whenever I happen past October Road on ABC, I cant help but wonder what Brian, Adam, Nicole, Dave and Deena are up to. Making a male-skewing primetime soap opera isnt easy (as October Road and Big Shots have certainly proven), but What About Brian managed to combine sappy romantic blather with the sort of relaxed openness and banter that come from hanging out with your oldest friends. Its no slight to Sarah Lancaster that the show improved immeasurably in its second season when Brian (Barry Watson) and Adam (Matthew Davis) were able to stop moping over Marjorie and start dating a slew of TVs most attractive guest stars, including Rachelle LeFevre, Krista Allen, Stacy Keibler and Jessica Szohr, not that the regular cast was hard on the eyes, particular with second season additions like Jason George and Amanda Foreman.
