Heck, I'm not at all guilty about my appreciation for "The Loop." With its catchy opening theme song (the immortal "Hockey Monkey"), charming and willing-to-try-anything leading man (Bret Harrison), salty supporting veterans (Philip Baker Hall and Mimi Rogers) and assorted wacky sidekicks (including Eric Christian Olsen, Joy Osmanski and Ian Reed Kesler), "The Loop" was always good for more laughs than, say, "Back to You" and "'Til Death." But FOX treated "The Loop" like a dirty, dirty secret, juggling the show around its schedule, eliminating half of its cast between seasons and ultimately burying the show in a frenzied summer burn-off. "The Loop" deserved better.
