Zap2it Casts the 2008 Primaries

The 2008 Primaries are underway, and soon we will know who will be the Democrat and Republican candidates for the next president of the United States. We here at Zap2it do not want to touch political controversy with a 10-foot pole (unless it involves Britney Spears, of course), but we do want to be involved. Therefore, we have selected our picks for the actors who should portray each candidate.

Some were easy and practically wrote themselves -- Hillary Clinton (Meryl Streep, Glenn Close ...), Barack Obama, John Edwards, Bill Richardson -- while others proved to be unexpected stumpers -- Mitt Romney could totally be played by ... umm ... er ... maybe ... no.

Still, it's a democratic society and process, so let us know if you come up with someone better. Here are our casting picks, in alphabetical order.
