The matriarch of the hard-fighting, hard-drinking Walker family on ABC’s “Brothers & Sisters” has had to cope with her husband’s death and the revelation that he had a child with his long-term mistress. She loves her family and they love her, even though they accuse her of being manipulative and controlling. Those qualities seem to run in the family – perhaps it’s a genetic trait.
