Every year, the Golden Globes choose a second-generation actor or actress to be Mr. or Miss Golden Globe to help hand out the statuettes. Sarah Michelle Geller let slip on the red carpet during the 2012 ceremony that her husband, Freddie Prinze Jr., had previously been Mr. Golden Globe. We had to look it up and we found a clip of him being introduced in 1996. Up to that point, he had guest-starred on an episode of "Family Matters" and been in an ABC Afterschool Special titled "Too Soon for Jeff," as the titular character something was "too soon" for. SMG got it wrong, though - Freddie was not the first Mr. Golden Globe. He was beaten by one year by John Clark Gable, the son of Clark Gable.
In case you were wondering, flanking Prinze in the photo is Jaime Nicole Dudney, the daughter of country star Barbara Mandrell.
