Pictures: 2011's most memorable movie moments

Brad Pitt has admitted that many of his films have not been good. And that he has not been good in them. But 2011 marked two Pitt performances, "The Tree of Life" and "Moneyball," that were not only his personal best but perhaps some of the best acting of the year overall. We hope his whisper of retirement will be ignored.
