Apart from his stellar performances in "Drive" and "The Ides of March" (and a Best Supporting Abs turn in "Crazy, Stupid, Love"), Gosling found time this year to break up a street fight, accompany Eva Mendes around Paris in the best-looking peacoat ever and win the Nobel Prize in Physics.
