Baltimore's top 10 food trucks

Two years ago, you could count the number of Baltimore's food trucks on one hand. For most people, "food truck" meant the dude on the corner slinging crappy hot dogs -- or, if you were lucky, a passable gyro.

How did we survive?

These days, Baltimore has something like 20 food trucks, serving everything from high-end cupcakes to Korean BBQ pulled pork tacos. They're all over the city, even as far out as Towson and Owings Mills. But they're not all delicious.

To separate the best from the rest, we sampled dishes from every regularly touring food truck in town. When ranking the top 10, we took a few factors into consideration:

How good is the concept behind the food truck? Is the menu interesting, and the food tasty? Do they take credit cards, and are they good about updating Twitter and Facebook with their location?

Here are the 10 that rise above the rest of Baltimore's ever-growing food truck fleet.
