Brett Ratner, left, caused quite a kerfuffle back in November when he used a gay slur while promoting his new movie "Tower Heist." Soon after, he resigned as producer of the 84th Annual Academy Awards, and his hand-picked host Eddie Murphy, right, quickly dropped out too. The academy didn't waste any time finding replacements, hiring Brian Grazer as producer and Billy Crystal as host.
