"Game of Thrones"
8 p.m. April 17, HBO
The much-anticipated adaptation of George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Fire and Ice" book series, which has been in the works since 2006, propels HBO into a fantasy world loved by millions of diehard fans. But it's getting help from actors well-known in the genre, including Sean Bean (pictured), who played Boromir in Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. I've watched a few episodes of the series, and feel HBO has nailed the tale with an epic scope and brooding cinematic feel. Click here for a more complete list of April TV events. Curt Wagner, RedEye's Show Patrol
