RedEye's Sound Board's top albums of 2012

If you listen to one song on this album, make it "Serpents." It's louder and faster and more like a rock song that you'd expect from Van Etten. But don't stop there, this entire album twists and turns through dark corners and her haunting tone will surely ensnare you like, well, a serpent might. -- Sara Stewart
