2011 Notable Deaths

Pioneering CBS reporter Joseph Wershba died May 7, from pneumonia in a New York hospital. During his 50-plus years in the business he helped expose the McCarthy era's communist witch hunt on Edward R. Murrow's "See It Now" series and was a original "60 Minutes" segment producer. Wershba was 90.
