Comedy Central pulls Mohammed from "South Park"
The cartoon "South Park" has never been shy about lampooning various sacred cows, both literally (check out the episode Cow Days) and figuratively. But the show's 200th episode, which depicted the Prophet Mohammed disguised in a bear suit (which he donned to help the town avoid being bombed), drew death threats -- or, as one jihadist website said, warnings that they might face death threats from people who are much less understanding than they are. Comedy Central took note and bleeped all references to Mohammed, as well as a character's speech on not giving in to fear.
