Sarah Ramos and Mae Whitman, 'Parenthood'
You know them as: Haddie Braverman and Amber Holt
Why we like them: Because they've both really grown into their roles. "Parenthood's" writers have figured out the two teenage characters a little more this season, and it's brought out the best in both Ramos -- who's gotten to show a much sweeter side of Haddie through her budding relationship with Alex ("Friday Night Lights'" Michael B. Jordan) -- and Whitman, who has taken Amber from borderline quote-troubled teen-unquote to a quick-witted, unsure and fully realized girl who, if we were still in high school, we'd totally want to hang out with.
Where else you've seen them: Ramos was little sister Patty on "American Dreams." Whitman's credits include "Arrested Development," "In Treatment" and "State of Grace."
