'The Walking Dead's' walking dead
Sure AMC's "The Walking Dead" is a well-paced, expertly-acted drama that just happens to be set against the backdrop of a zombie-pocalypse. But, no matter how much we enjoy pondering man's inhumanity to man with Robert Kirkman and the rest of the show's writing staff, we can't deny it: part of the fun is watching the zombies in action.
In the season opener, when a herd of walkers shambled down a highway as our heroes hid under cars, we totally felt their pain. Did we kind of want someone to get snatched? Well, maybe, but Andrea's (Laurie Holden's) screwdriver zombie kill totally scratched that itch.
