Not only that, but the U.S. men were still fast enough to finish second and qualify for Friday night's finals. There is no word yet on which U.S. runner will replace him on the relay team. The U.S. men have won every 4x400 relay since 1976, excepting the 1980 boycotted games in Moscow.
