Way to battle back

The pommel horse is a fickle mistress. Just as the women's routines can be disastrous on the balance beam, the men can tank their entire night with a slip up on the pommel.

Danell Leyva did just that, dropping to 17th place in the individual all-around after a rough pommel horse. But he battled back over the next four rotations and took the bronze. A hard-fought victory for Leyva.
