For the final lighting of the Olympic cauldron, David Beckham raced the torch along the Thames, Jeff-Probst-Survivor-finale-style, then passed it to Steve Redgrave (yeah -- who?), then Steve gave it to seven young athletes who all worked together to light the cauldron.
Sure, teamwork is great. But the last time the U.S. hosted the Summer Games, we had Muhammad Ali. He ain't called The Greatest for nothin'.
