The best of 2011: We're thankful for...

"Game of Thrones" shocked the TV-watching world by advertising the show with major star Sean Bean and then killing him off at the end of the season! Sure, it's in the book, but you just know that there was pressure to keep him alive. Kudos to HBO for catering to the readers and fans and sticking to their guns and giving us a shocking, yet satisfying ending to Season 1.
