Spinoff of: "Cheers"
Rarely has a supporting character on one show become the central character on a spinoff with as much success as "Frasier" had. Of course, it helped that several veteran "Cheers" writers and producers had a hand in the spinoff -- and to have an actor as talented as Kelsey Grammer in the title role. It aired for as many seasons as "Cheers" and surpassed its parent show's Emmy total.
