'Baywatch Nights'
Spinoff of: "Baywatch"
David Hasselhoff attempted to extend the hugely successful "Baywatch" franchise with this dud that debuted in 1995. It started out as a private-eye show starring Hasselhoff's Mitch and his buddy Garner Ellerbee (Gregory Alan Williams), along with a pre-"Law & Order" Angie Harmon as Ryan, a fellow gumshoe. By the second (and last season), though, it became sort of a low-rent "X-Files," with Mitch and Ryan encountering all manner of cheesily rendered supernatural beings.
