From 'Terra Nova' to 'Jurassic Park': Dinosaurs in TV and movies

One of the earliest animated films, by Winsor McCray, is a depiction of a dinosaur walking into the foreground, eating a tree stump and performing a couple other tricks. It started as an element of McCray's vaudeville act and was later turned into a one-reel film.
