'Downton Abbey': Season 3 character wish list

We would most definitely like to see Thomas get his tryout for valet, just as Mr. Bates comes back from prison. And then Thomas is relegated back to being a footman. It would also be nice for a new footman to join the house and give Thomas someone to boss around.
