'The Simpsons' to 'House': FOX's 25 best and most important shows of the last 25 years

Yes, things went downhill for the series after the first movie, and yes, some of the big questions the show raised were never answered, at least not satisfactorily. But "The X-Files" definitively proved that sci-fi could work in primetime, and when it was working at its highest level it was simply one of the best shows on TV, regardless of genre.
