The 'Nightmare on Elm Street' movies
The Good: The original, of course. And "New Nightmare" was rather awesome in its meta-ness, as Wes Craven, Heather Langenkamp and Robert Englund all appear as themselves.
The Bad: The franchise really went off the rails when "dream powers" were being transferred between people.
The Ugly: The 2010 reboot was terrible, panned as a paint-by-numbers echo of the original.
