Midseason report card: Which new Fall 2012 TV series are making the grade?

'Emily Owens, M.D.'

What we said then: "Emily Owens, M.D.," is "Felicity" in scrubs: "a slow-building romance, a relatable lead character and a sweet follow-up to lighthearted lead-in 'Hart of Dixie.'"

What we say now: Mamie Gummer's quirky medical dramedy was DOA. Its premiere flatlined, and it continued to struggle in the ratings before the CW announced it would end after 13 episodes.
